John Cena has finally revealed the real reason why he's decided to follow so many fans via Twitter over the past few years.

Cena told ESPN's 'Pardon My Take' that he "just went into a rabbit hole" when he began following a few accounts dedicated to things like EDM dance culture, Twitch and NFTs. When asked why he follows a staggering 368,000 folks on Twitter, John said he only wants to learn more about the world.

Of course, following so many accounts does make it tough to see anything that 99.9% of them post, but JC doesn't have any regrets. In fact, he quite enjoys "learning a little bit about each and every person as I go", and it doesn't seem like his following spree is over quite yet.

Interestingly enough, despite ESPN mentioning other sites in their write-up, Cena currently follows exactly 0 users on Instagram. He also doesn't really browse Facebook much, but mainly uses Twitter to keep tabs on what's happening around him.

So, if you get a follow from Cena, it's because you're really interesting. Nice to know, eh?
