"Heartbreaking" and "embarrassing" are two of the words used to describe the aftermath of All Out.

With AEW EVP Kenny Omega recently publicly discussing the infamous post-All Out media scrum and the brawl which followed it for the first time, fellow company mainstay Britt Baker has likewise now opened up about this situation.

The Good Doctor was asked her thoughts on the aftermath of All Out during a recent interview with Barstool Rasslin' (via WrestlingNews.co), and described the events of that fateful September night as "heartbreaking", "embarrassing" and "disappointing".

As D.M.D. explained:

"I actually don't even think I've ever given my thoughts. So, just speaking solely on what I watched, because that's all I can talk about is what I saw and the scrum and what I heard. As someone who loves AEW more than anything in the world and has so much pride, and at a time when it felt like we were really, like, something special and we have some of the biggest names in professional wrestling all fighting for our same team, and especially after a huge pay-per-view - the pay-per-view was amazing, it was one of the biggest houses we ever had - that scrum was heartbreaking and it was embarrassing and it was disappointing, because it was just, like, for a moment in time, this felt like very much a disaster. And you never want that to happen. That was definitely a time in AEW where I was, like, 'Man, this sucks'."

Taking place on 4 September 2022, All Out and its infamous post-PPV press scrum is the last wrestling fans have seen of CM Punk - bar the two-time AEW World Champion attending NJPW Battle in the Valley last month.

Of course, Punk's comments during that presser regarding Colt Cabana, 'Hangman' Adam Page, the AEW EVPs and even Tony Khan, led to a backstage brawl which pitted the Straight-Edge Superstar and Ace Steel against Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. As a direct result of that, all involved were immediately suspended, with Punk stripped of the AEW World Championship and the Elite stripped of the AEW Trios Titles.

While Omega and the Bucks returned to AEW programming at Full Gear in November and have now regained those belts, CM Punk is recovering from a torn triceps suffered on the night of All Out. Once healthy, it remains to be seen what the future of the Chicago native looks like in the wrestling business, with plentiful reports that a Punk return to AEW would cause major unrest amongst certain sections of the locker room. Likewise, there is speculation that the Second City Saint could wind up back in WWE or instead opt once again to walk away from the industry entirely.
