Top Star Returning For AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door?

This major AEW player is expected back for Forbidden Door on 26 June.

Bryan Danielson should be back in All Elite Wrestling by Forbidden Door.

This is according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, who has learned that Danielson was hurt while competing in the brutal Anarchy in the Arena match at Double Or Nothing 2022 (29 May). There is currently no word on whether or not speculation that Danielson was concussed during the bout is accurate, however.

26 June's AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view has been pinpointed as a potential date for Danielson to be clear by, though there's a chance he could be back between the ropes sooner. Adam Cole should also be back in action by that show.

Danielson's injury forced him to miss a meet and greet scheduled for this weekend past. Fans attending the event were told the 'American Dragon' was unable to travel.

Bryan's name will be high on many an AEW fan's wishlist for potential Forbidden Door matches. That he will be involved in the show is far from guaranteed, though his reputation as one of the finest workers on the planet means people have been fantasy booking him in interesting scenarios from the moment the show was announced.
