Paul 'Triple H' Levesque is reportedly yet to decide the winner of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns' WrestleMania 39 main event.

GiveMeSport and WrestleVotes have reported as much, noting that Reigns will be taking a significant break from WWE upon dropping the Undisputed Universal Championship. Whether or not this will occur at 'Mania 39 is far from certain, however, with WWE yet to formalise plans.

Reigns vs. Rhodes will headline WrestleMania 39's second night on 2 April. This year's 'Show Of Shows' takes place in Inglewood, California's SoFi Stadium across two days, wrapping on the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match.

Cody earned his shot at Roman by winning this year's men's Royal Rumble, returning from a long-term injury in the process. In the interim, Reigns has had to defend his strap against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the Rumble and Elimination Chamber 2023 respectively, though Rhodes has now become his primary onscreen focus (as well as The Bloodline's apparent dissolution).

A world champion for 934 days and double title-holder since adding the WWE Championship to his collection at WrestleMania 38, Reigns has been hotly-tipped to fall to Rhodes in California. It is understood that WWE plans on splitting his world titles back up by SummerSlam 2023.
