Vince McMahon's 15 Most Epic Promos

11. Vince McMahon Interviewed By Bob Costas On HBO's Real Sports (2001)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qexcFvsPetY As a matter of full disclosure, it must be mentioned that while a neophyte broadcaster in St. Louis, Missouri, Bob Costas called pro wrestling matches as a ringside announcer for Sam Muchnick's vaunted St. Louis wrestling promotion. Likely knowing this, both McMahon and Costas willfully engage in a multi-segment interview of HBO's sports series Real Sports in 2001. McMahon does everything short of low-blowing Costas while the ref's back is turned to get heel heat on himself here. Vince actively makes you want to believe that he's an awesome businessman who's also a big, buff badass dude. Thus, at points this interview is as laughable as it is informative, and true to form, Costas takes the heat, keeps fighting, and makes a terrific comeback in the end. So many bizarrely awesome promos in here.
