This week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter features a writeup on the ongoing discussion surrounding Roman Reigns' WWE status, following on from the promotion's decision to edit him out of WrestleMania 31 footage aired on this week's episode of Raw.

Per Dave Meltzer, Vince McMahon currently has no set stance on 'The Big Dog.' How the WWE Chairman reacts to and handles the situation "changes daily based on which way the wind is blowing," according to a source, which explains cutting him from 'Mania highlights and Make-a-Wish clips one day, then airing a big one-hair FS1 special on Roman the next.

This should go some way to laying the conspiracy theories to bed, with how WWE handles Roman's ongoing absence seemingly depending on Vince's mood when he wakes up that morning.

Roman has been absent from WWE television since just before WrestleMania 36. He is potentially staring down the barrel of a lengthy absence as his two battles with leukaemia and compromised immune system make him more susceptible to the ongoing global health crisis' worst symptoms, making it unlikely that fans will see him again before a vaccine is developed.
