Wrestling Icon Says MJF's AEW Shoot Promo Made Him "Sick"

Not everybody was a fan of MJF's recent shoot-style promo on AEW Dynamite.

The MJF vs. Tony Khan/AEW drama continues.

Now, pro wrestling legend Jake Roberts is claiming on his 'DDP Snake Pit' podcast that Friedman's recent shoot-style promo on Dynamite "made [him] sick". The icon, who has battled back from the brink to overcome personal demons and find peace in AEW, didn't like what he was hearing from MJF.

In fact, Jake wishes he'd been there in the locker room to see and hear what other wrestlers had to say about it too. Roberts thinks there will "be repercussions" for some of the lines Friedman spewed during his fiery rant on live TV.

Is...is this all part of an elaborate work? Is Jake only using his new pod as a platform to further some realistic AEW storyline? That's guesswork more than anything, but this MJF vs. AEW saga is very compelling. It's also highly entertaining, and has the entire wrestling world talking.

Jake was also critical of recent reports that MJF no-showed a fan signing before Double Or Nothing. The ex-WWE man doesn't think it's right that Friedman stood paying customers up, or that AEW had to apologise for his behaviour.
