WWE: 10 Best Steve Austin Podcasts To Download Now
6. WWE Family Reunion - Episode 90
The first 10 minutes of this podcast are occupied by Steve's review of Christmas Gifts Past. It's a curse-laden parade of products, courtesy of his mother-in-law's hilarious informercial-informed purchases. I dare you to listen to this without laughing; I'm just glad I wasn't driving at the time. Austin recently visited the set of Monday Night Raw. Because he was like a journalist in a war zone, he barely got much face time with these people, as they were all in the midst of putting on a live show. But his little sound bites about each of his encounters with former colleagues and new faces are so much fun, that you feel like you're wandering the hallways and peeking into the production trucks along with him. Whether it's phoning The Big Show while they were on the same bus together or dropping some truth on McMahon and Mysterio about that Royal Rumble booking, you're going to enjoy seeing "the back" through the eyes of Stone Cold. You'll also find out what Steve thinks about the next generation of wrestlers, as he meets members of The Shield and Bray Wyatt. I'm convinced that only Steve Austin could pull off such a damn engaging podcast ABOUT wrestlers, without us hearing from a single one themselves. It's a testimony to his charisma and his ingenuity, and it's the funniest episode I've heard.
