WWE: 10 Best Tag Team Matches Ever

6. TLC Match: The Shield vs. Daniel Bryan, Kane & Ryback (TLC 2012)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEqTI62soSA There have been so many great six man tag matches involving The Shield over the course of the past 15 months, but it's their first televised WWE match that stands out to me. It was a TLC match that saw The Shield take on Daniel Bryan, Kane and Ryback. What was interesting is that it was a TLC match that didn't have a title hanging from the ceiling. It was simply a match where they used the weapons as part of a story. It was a thrilling matchup from beginning to end. There were no slow spots where the match dragged or lost the crowd. The audience was hot for all of it. They reacted in a big way to everything. I liked the story of how The Shield worked together so well as a team by isolating individual members of their opponents and then taking them out in order to set up for the finish. The biggest spot of the match saw Ryback climb up a ladder that Rollins was on and he sent him through a nearby table. I remember watching it live and thinking Rollins was seriously hurt because the back of his head hit two tables, but somehow he was able to walk away from it healthy. The Shield ended up winning after putting Daniel Bryan through a table with a powerbomb. All three guys on the babyface side did an excellent job with Bryan carrying a large portion of the match. It's not like Ryback has had a lot of great matches in his career while Kane has shined in multi-man matches in the past. It was an outstanding brawl that set the standard for some epic matches involving The Shield.
