WWE: 10 Most Disappointing Things About WrestleMania 30

WrestleMania 30, the biggest spectacle of professional wrestling, promised by promoters and superstars alike as the €˜Grandest stage of them all.€™ Yet as we make inroads into 2014, it seems like for all the promotion, all the promises and all the hype the latest edition of WWE€™s €˜Big Time€™ Pay Per View will fall all too short of expectation. In some ways Wrestlemania 30 will be a success, if you qualify success as the lucrative side of the event. The machine that is the WWE will no doubt receive a boost to its coffers as current and former fans alike tune in to experience the annual €˜Grandaddy€™ of the wrestling world. Yet if we look at the product itself, regardless of the money that will be generated, there is much to suggest that Wrestlemania 30 is not as good €˜product wise€™ as many of its predecessors. If we take for example the last 10 year Anniversary Edition of Wrestlemania, Wrestlemania 20, the product was filled with creative storylines, had a deep talent pool to portray those storylines and ultimately the event seemed to keep the fans guessing as to what might happen. Ten years later at Wrestlemania 30, and it would seem we can all predict the outcome of the matches, there is a distinct shallowness to the current talent pool and a severe lack of compelling storylines to truly entertain fans over a course of a 4 hour show. Therefore despite all the hype and all the promotion here are the ten most disappointing things that in my opinion undermine the claim that Wrestlemania 30 is the best Wrestlemania of all time.
