WWE: 10 Legitimate Backstage Fights

1. Shawn Michales vs Bret Hart

Shawn Michaels Vs Bret Hart When Shawn Michaels stated that Bret Hart was enjoying "sunny days" it was a cutting shoot comment that kicked off the most infamous backstage fight in WWF history. Michaels had been looking to provoke Bret, after the Hitman himself cut a rambling shoot promo on the previous weeks Raw. In that segment, Hart had ran HBK down and it was clear the heat between both men was very, very real. Professionally they were in competition with each other, and as personalities they were also at logger heads. It was like a wrestling cold war, two huge forces primed to explode. The "sunny days" comment was a tipping point. Hart stewed on it before later confronting Michaels and accusing him of "F***ing with my family". "What's your problem?" Bret demanded. "You" Michaels replied. The Canadian then charged at the Texan. The pair rolled around, Hart tearing hair from Michael's head - it was short but brutal. Michaels stormed out and told Vince he was quitting the WWF over this - but of course, he wasn't gone long. HBK would end up having the last laugh when he conspired with Vince McMahon to "screw" Bret Hart and kick start what would become the attitude era. Michaels and Hart have now reconciled, and have mutual respect for each other. Supposedly anyway.
