The slow heavy hitting of Batista probably isn't going to cut it in this modern era of mat based action. The style of wrestling is entirely different from the era of Batista's prime. The other big change has been on weapon use and bleeding. Batista's most memorable performance of his peak year was the Hell in a Cell clash with Triple H. It was brutal. Blood and chairs to the head were replete. Batista was in his element. That brawling style is not in fitting with the PG era. It was part of the reason that The Animal called it a day last time round. How he can fit himself around the new dynamics of wrestling will be fascinating to see - but most people will be guessing it will be with a struggle.
