WWE: 10 Steps To Booking Sting vs The Undertaker At WrestleMania 31

7. The Enigma - May-August 2014

Sting Tna Lockdown With the fans, hopefully, being exposed to the history of Sting through the WWE Network, they should have come to understand that he is a babyface. It would be a mistake to have Sting be an outright heel, I don't believe people would boo him. That said, I also think it would suit the mystique of his gimmick if his attacks weren't exclusive to heels. Eventually, have someone related to one of his victims who can carry a promo- Zeb Colter or Paul Heyman spring immediately to mind- address him with a live mic. It would be a relatively simple promo, attempting to lure Sting down from his vantage point and into a fight. Sting would, of course, refuse. Following this, have his approaches to the ring vary to promote the mystique of his character. Will he attack, won't he attack? Yes, once again, this mirrors WCW. Am I being lazy? No. It makes sense. WWE will want to cross-promote the Network; will want to try and incite people to use it to discover the history of Sting. Have the announcers put over the similarities and, low and behold, you'll have a bunch of new subscribers wanting to find out who this man is and what he's done. A link, therefore, to a storyline that is occurring in the present day is perfect for WWE to get an extra few hundred-thousand $10s a month.* * With a 6-month commitment.
