WWE: 10 Steps To Booking Sting vs The Undertaker At WrestleMania 31

6. Summerslam & The Wyatt Family Affair - July-August 2014

Steve Borden has never once wrestled a single match in WWE, despite being a legend of the business. In that, he's practically unique! If Steve Borden ends up having only one more match in his storybook career and it is against Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31, then it's a WWE in-ring debut only the likes of him deserve. I would not have Sting wrestle a match before Wrestlemania 31. It would ruin some of the history of that match. Will they have him wrestle? Maybe. They would certainly see it as a chance to boost the buy-rate for Summerslam or wherever else they might want to promote. Whilst I wouldn't have Sting wrestle, I think a promotion involving him regarding a Summerslam feud involving The Wyatt Family is a good idea. Sting's gimmick and Bray Wyatt's will match up well, with Bray trying to recruit him into the fold and Sting refusing to respond, as per usual. Ideally, I see Bray Wyatt against Daniel Bryan at Summerslam- perhaps for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. There's already the talk of doing Lesnar vs Batista at that event so WWE shouldn't be too concerned about Bryan going into L.A. as champion and with the history between Wyatt and Bryan and the parallels in the storylines with Wyatt recruiting both Bryan and Sting, Sting's involvement should work well. Sting can play along with Bray Wyatt for a while, appearing to support him and even making Bryan #11 in his Streak if he wants. Eventually, when Summerslam comes around Sting can drop Bray Wyatt in the middle of the ring, sending the crowd crazy and bringing up 12-0. Ring the bell. Both of them. At this point, I would have Sting disappear completely from WWE for a while, during their usual down period in the Autumn (Fall). In his place, he can leave a mark, alike Batman does- to keep people aware of his presence. A crow would work or perhaps the Roman numeral of 'XII'. The odd moment of flickering lights here and there. Let people take a breather from the Sting storyline but don't let them forget.
