5. Sable
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tfp8Fs-OzY She was instrumental in the "Monday Night War" between WCW and WWE. She coined the term "Diva" and went from being an aspiring model who grew up in a trailer park to being one of the industry's most recognizable females ever. She is Sable. Love her or hate her, Sable's name was on the tip of everyone's tongue, even more so after her revealing pictorial in Playboy Magazine. In 1998, Sable became Women's Champion and also holds the record (among the Divas) for longest undefeated streak at WrestleMania (3-0). Although she wasn't the most technical wrestler on the roster, for a model with no prior training she was always able to put on an entertaining match and was a prototype for the "model-turned-wrestler" formula later adopted by WWE. Sable was such a phenomenon that at one point her popularity was rivaled only by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. For Sable, even a simple strut down the aisle to model t-shirts was enough to garner her one of the largest pops of the night. Although she sued the company in 1999 for $110 million for sexual harassment and unsafe work conditions, she mended fences with management and returned in 2003. A few years later she became Mrs. Brock Lesnar. Rumor has it that Sable was offered a Legends Contract, but she turned down the offer. Does that mean she'd turn down a possible Hall of Fame induction? I certainly hope not! After all, you can't have Divas in the Hall of Fame without including the woman who helped start the whole thing.
