WWE: 11 Best Things To Ever Happen After Raw Went Off Air

8. Edge Appreciation Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t26gRd_VH-4 Although not Raw, this after-show on Smackdown is well worth inclusion. When Edge was forced to retire in 2011, the WWE went much further than dedicating just a post show segment to him, instead they booked a full on 'Edge Appreciation Night' after Smackdown's cameras stopped rolling on the September 13th tapings. It was a touching show of gratitude to Edge given that the show was in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. What's striking about this segment is seeing Adam Copeland speaking away from his Edge character €” in reality he proves to be humble, modest and a little bit embarrassed about the attention upon him. There are several emotional moments encapsulated in Edge's post show celebration, his Mum appears and gets a "thank you mom" chant from the crowd, his tag team partner Christian and other key friends such as Rhyno appear. Copeland is for real cut up in tears as Christian's voice breaks with emotion as he tells him how much he appreciates everything Edge did. Bret Hart then makes an appearance (arguably with a bigger pop than Edge got), before the entire locker room comes down to say thank you Edge.
