Jerry Lawler's heat attack live on air during Monday Nigh Raw was one of the most shocking WWE moments ever. The King had just competed in a match against CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler, which had obviously put too much strain on his 62 year old heart. He returned to his commentary position but was noticeably out of breath, before suddenly going quiet. The star had collapsed on the table and in the break was rushed backstage for CPR before being taken to hospital. The rest of Raw ran without commentary, with interim reports from a shaken Michael Cole on the status of his friend. WWE later confirmed it was indeed a heart attack. This whole episode was worrying to see unfold, Lawler himself admits he had a brush with death that night. One report even stated that Lawler was in fact clinically dead for a period of 20 minutes. This has to be one of the closest ever times someone has came to the brink of death on live WWE television.
