WWE: 12 Matches That Were Booked All Wrong

Pro Wrestling sounds like a straight forward creative concept. You have a bad guy and a good guy. The hero has a treasure to retrieve from the villain, an obstacle to overcome or some vengeance to take. They feud it out resulting in a one on one war in which one man will get their victory, achieving a satisfying resolution. The WWE should be able to run this formula time and time again. The characters change but the basis for success is repeatable, hence why most creative entertainment is derivative as far back as Shakespeare. The WWE should do the same, simply derive the things from great matches to make more great matches. Yet all too often we see what should have been a great match end up painfully bad. WWE has the unfortunate knack of grabbing creative defeat from the jaws of victory on all too many occasions. We have seen this very recently with Batista winning the Royal Rumble. The booking of that match just didn't make sense, WWE attempted to get Batista over as a good guy when any winner not named Daniel Bryan was always going to be received as a bad guy. You think to yourself, how could they not see that coming? This feature will detail 12 matches which should have been brilliant but ended up being booked all wrong, ruining what should have been great. One superstar in particular will feature regularly on this list, not to give the 'game' away but some guys in power should really know better ...
