We have already witnessed Triple H scale back his in-ring work significantly. Given that he is five years off fifty you can almost guarantee he will be fully finished with wrestling at some point in the next half decade. That date will be accelerated by his increased role in the corporate side of WWE, an executive role that he is absolutely loving being part of as a key man in creative and talent development. That's where Hunter's interest is now, his passion for being a wrestler has waned in the face of his desire to be a top businessman. Hunter's retirement considerations will also have been accelerated by his history of injuries. Following two major surgeries for quad tears, both of which could have ended his career, he isn't in the physical shape to keep on pushing his body. As Jim Ross said at the time of the quad tear, "it's a career shortening injury." Hunter has all the money he ever needs, a great alternative career, a famous legacy as a wrestler and a young family. Putting his surgically repaired body through more wrestling is unnecessary. He will also bear in mind the advice of Shawn Michaels to get out of competing when still young and healthy. Will WWE miss his in-ring efforts? Absolutely, Hunter Hearst Helmsley adds value and is one of the best in-ring worker / promo men ever. He could however prove even more valuable in his future corporate role as the new Vince McMahon of WWE. Retirement Verdict: 2016
