WWE 2003 PPVs From Worst To Best

5. SummerSlam

The Good: Although the Elimination Chamber had the completely wrong result (Goldberg should have won), it was still a good match and the first time the $1 million signing looked like the star he was in WCW. When Triple H won, it deflated the rabid crowd.

Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle had a fine match, albeit one which didn't need the Vince McMahon interference. Even on their worst day, Angle and Lesnar could put on a good match. Kurt Angle put Vince through a chair afterwards as a birthday present. Also providing the goods from Smackdown were Chris Benoit, Rhyno, Tajiri and the awesome Eddie Guerrero, who had a fun fatal four-way US Title match.

Eric Bischoff versus Shane McMahon was a terrible 'match' but provided some good quality sports entertainment. Still, some more actual wrestling might have been nice (especially with the likes of Christian, Rey Mysterio and The World's Greatest Tag Team sitting doing nothing).

The Bad: A-Train versus The Undertaker was bad, as you would expect. Ditto RVD versus Kane, which really should have been bitter, given that it was No DQ and both men had something to prove.

The Rest: Remember Jaime Koeppe, the first Diva Search winner? Nope? Well if you watch SummerSlam, you'll see her sitting in the crowd and having a wonderful time. This was the most noteworthy moment of her WWE 'career'.
