WWE 2K25: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
6. Use A Stored Finisher To Skip The Ladder Match Mini-Game
Sort of.
Using one stored finisher will skip one section of the three-pronged WWE Ladder match mini-game, so use it wisely: as a recommendation, save it for when your opponent is near you. Otherwise, don't waste it unless you have saved up three match-enders, in which case, go ham and win the match in record time.
The new mini-game in question is ostensibly elaborate. Gone are the days of timing your insertion of a ball into a rotating circle, done by pressing the right bumper at the correct moment. Now, it is a case of button-mashing rage. Make a mistake or get interrupted, and you're back to the start.
Mind-bogglingly, this mini-game will not carry over your progress, meaning that if you reach the last tier but are stopped on the final button, you'll find yourself having to mash through the system from scratch, hence why this trick of using a stored finisher to skip a section will be of excessive benefit. This is done the same as executing any other finishing move: R2 and X on PlayStation, and RT and A on Xbox.
