WWE: 7 Finishing Moves That Should Be Resurrected

3. Tag Team Tandem Finishers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OzpstAmcQk Recently used by: Not enough tag teams This could seriously be its own list. Throughout pro wrestling history, great (and even not-so-great) tag teams have utilized tandem finishers to polish off opponents. The trend toward singles wrestlers pairing up led to individuals using their own finishers (see The Rhodes Brothers). That is not meant to discount them, but think about some of the bigger tag teams and their finishers: Hart Foundation €“ Hart Attack The Rockers €“ Rockerplex Road Warriors €“ Doomsday Device Demolition €“ Demolition Decapitation Harlem Heat €“ Heat Seeker Midnight Express €“ Rocket Launcher Steiner Brothers €“ Steinerizer Dudley Boys €“ Dudley Death Drop Hardy Boys €“ Twist of Fate/Swanton Bomb Very few teams today use tandem finishers. The Usos will use a Superkick/Superfly Splash combo, while the Shield hits a Triple Powerbomb, often after the match. The Real Americans had some cool tandem offense like the Swaggerbomb/Double Foot Stomp, but no two-person finisher. Teams wouldn€™t necessarily need to steal one of these iconic finishers €“ although it€™s safe to say that the statute of limitations have passed €“ as there are several others out there. Tag Teams who could use them: Ryback and Curtis Axel (Power & Glory€™s Powerplex); R-Truth and Xavier Woods (Cryme Time€™s G9); The Wyatt Family (Demolition Decapitation); 3MB (Rockerplex or MNM€™s Snapshot)
