3. WrestleMania 17 - Edge & Christian Win TLC 2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZl6C29BF9I The tag team rivalry between Edge & Christian, the Hardy Boys and Dudley Boys is what carried the tag division in the late 1990s and into the early 2000s. When they had the triangle ladder match at WrestleMania 2000, it was great with the heel team Edge & Christian getting the win. A year later, they did the match again with TLC rules. Going into the match, the Dudleys were the tag team champions. The expectation was that either they would retain or the Hardys would get the win just because we're so used to seeing a babyface team like the Hardys emerge on a stage like WrestleMania. It was a very physical match with some incredible moments as all six guys put their bodies on the line and we got that memorable spot with Edge hitting a Spear on Jeff Hardy on the ladder. There was also the involvement of Rhyno helping E&C, Lita helping the Hardys and Spike helping the Dudleys. All of them got some offense in while also getting attacked too. What was great about the finish was it helped to tell the story of the heel team outsmarting the others. They had Rhyno put Christian on his shoulders and he climbed up to retrieve the titles as the E&C became the tag team champions one more time. It wasn't just a spotfest. It was a match that told a great story with the heels leaving as the winners.
