WWE: 7 Possible Plot Twists For Elimination Chamber 2014
4. The Undertaker Returns
Every new year brings a wealth of possibilities and storylines for WWE. What was once red hot in the previous year may have cooled off and the guys that were heavily featured on WWE programming could see their times in the spotlight being lessened to make room for other Superstars. And lurking somewhere among those possibilities is one of the company's biggest Superstars of all time, The Undertaker. There is no disputing the impact that The Deadman has had in WWE. His feuds with Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Triple H and CM Punk rank among some of the greatest of all time. And his ring work has been on par with the best that the industry has ever known. He is arguably the most accomplished, most athletic big man in the history of the business. And now that we're two months into the new year, the only question is what will happen next with The Phenom? Undertaker is reportedly booked to appear on the February 24 edition of Monday Night Raw. The night promises to be huge, as it leads directly to the launch of WWE Network, immediately following the program. But will that night be the actual return of Undertaker? Could he perhaps return at the Elimination Chamber the previous night? As WWE fans know, The Deadman was written off of TV last year thanks to The Shield's attack on Friday Night SmackDown. Could Taker return after their match with The Wyatt Family to exact revenge on the Hounds of Justice? The fact is that perhaps the biggest draw of WrestleMania lies with The Undertaker and who will be the next Superstar to attempt an end to the streak. Taker's undefeated run is the stuff of legend and seeing him lace up the boots once again to defend that run is an alluring prospect that a great number of WWE fans just cannot resist. And in order to get the ball rolling for Mania in April, Taker needs to return to WWE programming to lay the groundwork for that night. Could we see that return at the Elimination Chamber? The road to WrestleMania is not complete without The Undertaker. And his return could come when we least expect it.
