5. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit, WWE Raw - Kurt Angle Moonsaults Off Of The Steel Cage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9qDSx8OUnA In a somewhat forgotten match, Kurt Angle challenged Chris Benoit in a steel cage match on WWE Raw. With Steve Austin as the special guest commentator, Angle and Benoit had their usual fantastic match until Kurt decided to take it one step further. Angle climbed the corner of the steel cage and, instead of climbing out and winning the match, Kurt flew off of the cage with a spectacular moonsault that missed. On impact, Angle actually bounced off of the canvas below and brought the crowd to their feet. Any bump from a steel cage has the potential for disaster, as human body is not made for falling from such heights. Add to that Kurt is doing a backwards flip, unaware of how much he needs to rotate to ensure that he lands perfectly flat on his chest. Even in the most perfect scenario, Kurt Angle is still doing a backflip off of a steel cage and hoping to land directly on his face in order to absorb the impact of the bump. Unfortunately, this bump has been largely forgotten and Angle has repeated the spot in TNA. However, nothing matches the moment when he did it for the first time.
