WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Feb 7)

6. Unnecessary Jobbing

Speaking of people who are losing matches that they shouldn€™t be, let€™s talk about Kevin Owens! There is no way that the man in his current form should be losing to Dolph Ziggler in his current form. Ziggler is talented, but his character is tired and largely unlikable as a face. Owens still has some upside potential, but WWE has a belief that he can keep taking losses and fans will still buy him as a legitimate threat. It doesn€™t work that way. Besides that, this is another feud we€™ve seen way too many times. Since June 15th, KO and DZ have had nine televised singles matches. Five of them have gone down since December 7th! On Raw, Ziggler won cleanly. Then on SmackDown, he decided to show up at the announcers table. WHY? He already beat him! This just feels like one of those rivalries that solely exists to take up TV time. No one writing it has their heart into it. WWE doesn't seem to put any master plan to it, just toss the two out there, have them go 15 minutes and go on to the next segment. Despite the talent involved, it feels like a waste of time.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
