WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 25)

5. Rollins Backs Down

What is it with WWE making their champion look like such a chump? Imagine if during The Attitude Era, The Corporate Champion, The Rock, (remember how Vince McMahon didn€™t treat him as a child like Steph and Hunter do to Seth?) was talked down to by a star from the 80s like The Ultimate Warrior, and Rocky just stood there and took it. It would€™ve diminished his chance to get over as a top draw, exactly like it€™s doing to Seth. Seeing stars from the past is great, but not when they€™re pushed at the expense of someone who is 21 years younger than them. How about instead of HBK verbally berating the WWE Champion for five minutes, Seth Pedigrees Michaels into oblivion, then HHH comes out and Rollins takes him out too. That would make him seem like a legitimate threat. But, WWE goes with Rollins once again acting like a bratty teenager, who is easily put in his place by anyone bigger or older than him. Also, how is it possible that HBK becomes more obnoxious every time out? You€™d think he€™d have reached peank annoyingness by now. Arguably the greatest in-ring performer of all time is like the wacky person in the office whose sole source of humor is talking in a weird voice and thinking they're a genius because of it. Oh, you had a slice of that kid€™s pizza Shawn? Let me pause my DVR while I fall over laughing!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
