Another battle royal, another ridiculous Kofi elimination escape spot. We're starting to think the WWE are having more of these types of matches just to get their moneys worth from Kofi's contract and if they were, we honestly wouldn't blame them. The scrap over the Intercontinental Title saw Big E eliminated and shortly after, Cesaro attempted to eliminate Kofi. As any wrestling fan knows, you can never eliminate Kofi on the first attempt. The blow from standing on the apron knocked him backwards and clean on to the shoulders of Big E. Being a face, Big E carried him back to the ring where Cesaro attempted to suplex him in before he countered with the old school mid air rotation suplex counter that we haven't seen outside of Japan in a LONG time. The day Kofi can't come up with incredible spots for these types of matches will probably be the day he retires but when he does, that guy is going to have one hell of a career highlight reel.
