WWE: Dolph Ziggler And The Miz To Form A "Disgruntled" Tag Team

Dolph Ziggler The Miz WWE Creative have plans to push Dolph Ziggler and The Miz as a "disgruntled angry men" tag team, reports F4Wonline. It's unclear as of right now if the team would be a face or a heal duo but in the past couple of weeks, the oddball duo have expressed their frustration with things in WWE, leading to the assumption the gimmick will likely be played as heels. Ziggler did so in an inspired two minute promo that aired on the WWE App as well as WWE.com while the Miz went down to the commentary desk and complained about things for about five seconds. Then he just left. It was one of the most bizarre run-ins in the history of Raw in a lot of ways. Bizarre because of how quick it was and how pointless it felt. Since the WWE tag team division is currently very strong, I think it would be a good move for both guys to team-up for a run. Why not? It's not like either guy is doing a lot right now anyway. Ziggler loses more than he wins while Miz has gone from commentating on Smackdown one week to randomly walking down to commentary on Raw even though it looked like he was going heel a couple of months ago. Neither guy has any direction right now, so a run as a team could work for them. The key thing is to really commit to it. They need to team up all the time, work on tag moves, possibly come up with a name or wear similar outfits. Fans buy into a team if they look like a team. It should also be noted that while the tag division is a strength in WWE, they could use more teams. Since the Prime Time Players broke up just last week and it appears like the Real Americans may be ending, plus The Shield isn't really going for the tag team titles anymore, there is a spot for a team. What if Cody Rhodes and Goldust split up now that they're not tag champs? There could be an opening for a new time to rise up the tag ranks quickly. The advantage of being a team for the next six months or a year is that once things start to fall apart, you have a ready made feud to go. Both guys are going to be 34 years old. Miz is a former WWE Champion while Ziggler is a former World Champion. They've had success. Now they're at a crossroads while they are still in the prime of their careers. Let's see what they can do as a team. If the duo gets an actual team name, hopefully it's something better than Zigmiz or Mizler or something stupid like that. Feel free to offer up your ideas in the comment section below and keep watching WWE programming to see if they become a regular tag team going forward.
