WWE Draft 2017: 10 Things That Need To Happen
3. Mickie James To RAW
Although we never got to see 'Emmalina' properly debut on Monday Night RAW, it's hard to imagine it would have been anywhere near as good as Emma's return to her more successful villainous character. As evil Emma returned once more, she served as a much-needed beacon of hope for an increasingly dull women's division. She presents new challenges, new stories, and new matches for RAW's female superstars, but that doesn't mean the division itself couldn't be given a further shakeup.
Mickie James only recently returned to SmackDown LIVE, but so far she's done a good job of putting over younger wrestlers while retaining her integrity and allure. The trouble is, in the midst of rushed booking leading into WrestleMania 33, it's difficult to tell whether James is a heel or a face. She came back as a villain to help Alexa Bliss retain the Women's Championship, but after Bliss reneged on her promise to give Mickie a championship match herself, it seemed like she was about to transition into a more heroic role. But it hasn't really been addressed.
If Mickie moves to RAW, she can be the perfect legacy character to help get superstars like Dana and Emma over, and her alignment and motivations can be further streamlined into something more instantly understandable.
