WWE Elimination Chamber 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen
4. Bayley & Sasha Banks Go The Distance
Sasha Banks and Bayley will kick off the first ever Women's Tag-Team Title Chamber match against Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. That was confirmed on Raw and SmackDown this week, and WWE even teased some more tension between 'The Boss N' Hug Connection'. Don't expect that to last.
They have their names written all over these new belts.
Something stinks about the amount of news stories leaking out about Sasha re-aggravating an old shoulder injury. This, to any wizened old cynic, feels like WWE's attempt to add doubt before such a huge match so they can tell a feel-good story come crunch time. That might seem a bit too skeptical, but it makes sense.
If Bayley holds up around 80% of the bargain for her team and Banks is only there to help in the final stretch, then it'll forge their strength as a unit and make them strong initial champions. Nobody else involved has the kind of on-screen history these two do, and that has to count for something.
