Then: OC member Karl Anderson liked to go on and on about his hot wife (or whatever it was he'd say) during promos, and...that was it. Clearly, Anderson and his tag-team partner Luke Gallows were capable backup for stable leader AJ Styles across multiple stints in WWE, but they'd never properly get going if they weren't on camera with the 'Phenomenal' one or "beating up John Cena".

Being fair, that stint opposite 'Super Cena' must be considered a true highlight of Anderson's company career. Getting to work with his pals AJ and Gallows against one of the biggest stars in the industry? That's some gig. Things had started sinking for Karl by the time the Greatest Royal Rumble went down though.

He lasted less than 5 minutes before being thrown over by Randy Orton.

Now: Anderson has stayed true by Luke's side whether they're in WWE or not. Together, they returned under Triple H's watch in 2022, but The Good Brothers barely enjoyed a lacklustre 3 year stretch that saw them revive The OC with Styles (and Mia Yim/Michin). Overall, Karl and Luke were viewed as the kind of double act ideal for backstage skits or heel beatdowns and that was pretty much it.

Or the dreaded Main Event 'C' show matches.

Beyond WWE, Anderson has worked for AEW, Impact/TNA, New Japan and on the indy scene. He still has strong contacts within the WWE system, like AJ, Finn Bálor and Shinsuke Nakamura, but collectively he and Gallows would only be spinning their wheels by launching a third comeback together.
