WWE Hall Of Fame 2014: 10 Candidates For Induction

9. D-Generation X

Are you ready to see DX in the WWE Hall of Fame? Well you'd better be, because it's going to happen sooner or later! With Billy Gunn and Road Dogg back in the good graces of WWE (and working as agents backstage), now wouldn't be a bad time to induct them as a group. However, with Triple H still cast as the biggest heel in the company, it's not exactly the best time from a storyline standpoint. However, as fans who watch wrestling know, Hunter loves a big stage. And what bigger occasion will there be than the one at WrestleMania XXX? You have to think he's strongly considering going in this year. Next to the NWO, DX was the biggest stable of the 90s, and is deserving of enshrinement. They truly did help give WWE a dose of attitude during the company's heated battle with WCW. They were cool and edgy, which brought in the key demographic of young males in droves. You can imagine that WWE will probably leave Chyna out of the Hall due to her real life issues with Triple H and Stephanie, and because of her erratic behavior over the years. Unfortunately, Rick Rude and Tori most likely won't get the nod either, due to Rude's death and Tori never returning to WWE after her release. Still, it would be great to see X-Pac, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg finally get some of the recognition that they deserve.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
