WWE Just Addressed A HUGE Complaint About Raw On Netflix (WWE News)

Fans have grumbled about THIS since Raw moved to Netflix last year, but things are set to change.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that WWE plans to reduce the number of ad breaks that interrupt flagship show Raw every Monday night. That's been a regular complaint on social media amongst fans since Netflix picked up the rights to Raw and started beaming it live in January 2025.

A full year on, WWE execs finally agree that the commercial interruptions are a little too much.

WrestleVotes Radio and Fightful's write up says the company will "reduce commercial breaks during Raw from the planned 12 per show down to 10". They also noted that WWE began that process during Monday's broadcast (which is something that was flagged by fans on socials when watching).

However, Fightful aren't quite sure just yet whether or not this will mean longer ad breaks. That's possible, because WWE won't want to lose out on advertising revenue. In other words, there's a fair chance they'll still sell the same number of ads; it's just that the breaks won't be as abundant, or hopefully as irritating to people tuning in.

It's important to note that the last bit is opinion from this writer and not something included in the WrestleVotes Radio post on Fightful Select.

Some fans may not really notice the commercial breaks if they watch on catch-up, so this won't impact them at all. However, those watching live face the arduous task of sitting through countless ads and video packages in between major matches/segments (which is something that's been complained about on PLEs too). It looks like WWE decided to acknowledge the bitching about that, and they've done something about it.
