WWE King & Queen Of The Ring 2024: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

5. Then Babyface Charlotte Flair Returns

There are few characters more disingenuous than babyface Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte herself has sighed and bemoaned WWE's wish to make her likeable in the past. Here's the thing: Flair is likeable as a real human being, but not as a pro wrestling character. Her silver spoon background is backed by an alpha female personality on-screen, and those things don't constitute a well-rounded babyface.

Flair has always called herself the 'Queen' though, so it's hardly far-fetched to imagine she darts back into view here and stares down whomever wins Queen Of The Ring. If that's Nia, then get ready to tune out of anything creative serves up on Raw during that feud. It'd be the pits.

There is history here. Years ago, Charlotte and Nia got feisty in-ring together, and some folks have wondered the real story behind their communication breakdown ever since. Queen vs. Queen is also an easy bit of branding over the summer. An unwanted bit of branding, but easy nonetheless.
