WWE would be fools if they went into MITB thinking those, "WE WANT TRUTH" chants will die down. When fans clap eyes on John Cena, they're gonna be loud. He did work R-Truth's last major match in the company, after all. Being honest, Cena can play up to that for easy heel heat, and that's exactly the kind of thing someone who wants to "ruin wrestling" would do anyway.

Time to admit something: This fan doesn't really care much for the tag-team match Hunter has lined up on Saturday. There's little at stake between these four, because Cena's WWE Title isn't in danger and everything already feels 'been there, done that' with Logan Paul going after Jey Uso. Therefore, the safe play would be having the returning Cody Rhodes pin Logan to rebuild some lost momentum on his side.

Paul is collateral in this one, and he won’t lose much face by taking the fall in Cena’s stead.

Yes, it could be a tantalising thought for Triple H to have Cena pin Cody again, but no - Rhodes needs to heat back up again, and he can do that by pinning Paul then going on to challenge Cena in a title rematch that headlines Night Of Champions or the next Saturday Night's Main Event. Lord knows one of those SNME specials needs something bigger than the revived retro concept has been getting in 2025.

It's difficult to imagine Rhodes getting more egg on his face considering he's only just back. Plus, LP has that Teflon kinda feel to him. He's a cocky enough heel to sustain losses like this, and it's hardly like he's jobbing to Akira Tozawa on Main Event anyway. Cody is still one of the biggest stars in the entire company.
