WWE Night Of Champions 2026: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

6. Locals Don’t Get Danhausen’s Comedy

Painful memories of Danhausen's woeful debut back at Elimination Chamber have faded, but it was pretty apparent that fans in Chicago didn't have a clue who this oddball curiosity in the face paints was at the time. Nowadays, WWE fans are firmly on-boardhausen, and Dan's strong merchandise sales prove it.

Saudi Arabia could be a different story entirely.

Look, the days of WWE having to book guys like Mansoor to win Battle Royals just to get a pop out of the locals are every much over, but the market remains unique despite that. Plus, there's an obvious language barrier in play, so any live in-ring promo from Danhausen could fall flat if it leans too hard on his little eccentricities.

The Miz and Kit Wilson would have to work double time to get any sort of response out of fans in Riyadh. So, in other words, the creative team shouldn't throw a 10-minute Danhausen comedy spot onto the card thinking it'd get over like an episode of SmackDown in Providence, Rhode Island or at WrestleMania when John Cena is also in the house.

It's vital that Danhausen and his merry band of brainwashed lunatics get to continue their momentum, but they can only do that if they're utilised wisely. Also, please don't reintroduce Baron bloody Corbin as the Frankenstein's Monster who's been teased for a while now. That'd fall even flatter than Danhausen chattering on about his jars on teeth in front of an increasingly-bemused and bored Saudi audience inside the Kingdom Arena.
