WWE NXT In Lowell - 10 Live Observations
3. Shinsuke Nakamura Sweats Charisma
Having been in attendance for NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, I had already seen a majority of NXT's current roster in person, so I was most excited to see Shinsuke Nakamura in action at NXT Lowell. And he did not disappoint. Elias Sampson was out first to do a lousy rendition of some song I couldn't make out because the boos were deafening. Thankfully, Nakamura's extremely addictive entrance music cut him off and goosebumps proceeded to come over me.
Everything about his entrance is breathtaking, and it's safe to say you have not fully experienced life until you have seen Nakamura make his way down the ramp in person. At that point, the match that followed was almost irrelevant, but it was fun while it lasted. Sampson scored very little offense as it was all Nakamura throughout, lighting the crowd on fire by hitting his signature spots and finishing The Drifter off with the Kinshasa for the win.
Nakamura was without question the most over Superstar on the whole show, and while he may not literally sweat charisma, but he comes close. He has "star" written all over him. Look for him to set his sights on the NXT Championship sooner rather than later.
