It was announced on Monday that the WWE NXT Takeover Brooklyn event at the Barclays Center on August 22 is sold out. Triple H shared the news on Twitter noting that they have sold 13,000+ tickets that will easily make it the largest NXT event in WWE history. https://twitter.com/TripleH/status/630740902089228289 It is the first time that WWE will be holding a NXT Takeover event outside of Full Sail University in Orlando and could open up the possibility of doing more specials on the Saturday night before major PPVs since SummerSlam takes place on the next night. Here are the matches announced for the show. Ladder Match for the NXT Title: Finn Balor (c) vs. Kevin Owens - A rematch of their awesome match on July 4 this time with a ladder. NXT Tag Team Title Match: Blake and Murphy (c) vs. The Vaudevillians - There could be a title change here. Both teams could be promoted to the main roster soon as well. NXT Womens Title Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley - A title change is very possible since Banks is a full timer on the main roster. Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Tyler Breeze - It will be a rare sight to see a legend like Liger in WWE. Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin - This will be Joe's first match at a NXT Takeover event. The debut of Apollo Crews, who was formally known as Uhaa Nation.
