9. 'You Screwed Bret' Chants

It's been pointed out before in this article series, and it's worth repeating. Bill Goldberg has a promo style that helps him stand out from the crowd in WWE. The former WCW World Champion doesn't seem to be reading from a script during his segments, something that really helps fans relate to what Goldberg is saying.

Of course, it's hard for performers to allow for members of the audience who want to interrupt. Cutting another intense speech, Goldberg was almost rattled by fans chanting out, 'You Screwed Bret' right before he revealed that he would be entering the 2017 Royal Rumble bout.

Staring right at the hard camera to deliver his parting line, Goldberg couldn't stop a sly smile from crossing his face.

These fans were referencing the events of WCW's Starrcade 1999. Planting Hart directly in the side of the head with a stray boot, Goldberg left Bret with a concussion and effectively ended his career. Thankfully, Goldberg didn't exactly waver on Raw, even if he did smile and share a brief laugh with those who noticed the chants.
