Appearing on Raw for the first time in 12 years, Bill Goldberg looked like he was delighted to be there. Even though he doesn't need the money, the former World Champion is willing to step into the ring against Brock Lesnar one more time. That requires dedication, the match is likely to be extremely physical.

Coming out for his big return, Goldberg looked like the emotion was getting to him. Stoic during his entrance, it was only when Bill stepped foot between the ropes that he started to crack. Keeping it together, Goldberg was perhaps able to hide his nervous excitement to some.

Watching back over Raw makes it clear that the comeback means a lot to the man. He's not the only one, Goldberg's wife and young son were emotional at ringside too. Humbled by the reaction he received from the audience, Bill thanked the fans for not forgetting him.

This insinuates that he was worried before appearing, like people may have moved on since his departure from screens. It took Goldberg a moment or two to regain his bearings, before he was able to deliver his promo.
