WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Mar 7th)
9. Let's Hope He Doesn't Go On Right After Lesnar
Remember Shane McMahon's last comeback, prior to two weeks ago? Here's a refresher - in early 2009, Randy Orton became the top heel in WWE when he punted Vince McMahon right off of television. After that, the entire WWE roster confronted "The Viper" - only to stand aside when Shane came back and attacked Orton with some awful-looking punches. Some of them whiffed so clearly that Orton couldn't even sell them. When Shane beat up four security guards on Raw in the least-believable bit of one-upsmanship since Triple H pinned Brock Lesnar, he showed the world that his offense hasn't gotten a whole lot better since his last appearance. It's hard to imagine The Undertaker selling those short-armed punches and even harder to imagine them carrying Shane to a watchable performance. Hopefully, the match choreographers are laying this one out very carefully, and Shane relies more on his wits than his hands.
