We are less than a week out from the Night Of Champions PPV, and this week on RAW we saw the card get hastily thrown together with little build, other than with Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and Punk / Heyman angles. Here are 5 things we learned following RAW this week as we head into the next PPV:
5. Edge Returns To Raw
In a promotional run for his hit show Haven on the SyFy Channel, Edge returned to RAW last night in his home town of Toronto and completely blew the roof of the arena. While his promo was fantastic, his time in the ring was expected as he served to further the Daniel Bryan vs. The New Corporation storyline. It was certainly nice to see Edge back on WWE television, and the promo he cut in the ring to open the show let us all know that he has barely missed a step and can still be completely compelling. While his time back this week was a nice shot in the arm for the WWE TV product, it did little more than remind us of his show returning to SyFy, though his exchanges with Triple H were intense and seemed to tease that Edge's return run may not be limited to one night.
