WWE Royal Rumble: 10 Awesome Moments

7. Dean Ambrose Hits Big Elbow Drop

Speaking of performers who work well together, Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens are the very definition of that phrase. Concocting a wonderful 'Last Man Standing' Match over the WWE Intercontinental Title, both guys arguably served to steal the show from the Royal Rumble bout itself. This isn't the only moment from their match which features on this list, but it is one of the best from the scrap. Right in front of the row of announce tables, Ambrose lay Owens on a prone table. From there, he clawed his way to the top rope and paused to take a deep breath. The resultant dive looked like it actually hurt Dean more than his peer. Performing a diving elbow drop from the top rope to the outside, Ambrose smashed Owens through the table he was laying on. The crowd responded in kind, treating the move to some gasps and excited cheering. It was no less than it deserved, but the spot wasn't the most awesome in the match.
