WWE Royal Rumble: Best Performances From Every Entry Slot
19. Roman Reigns - 2015
Just two men have ever won the Rumble from No. 19: John Cena in 2013, and Roman Reigns in 2015. In just under half an hour in the ring, Cena eliminated four men, while Reigns surpassed that mark, eliminating six.
Reigns made his entrance through the crowd to a symphony of boos, dispatching of Goldust and Stardust with relative ease as soon as he entered the ring, before squaring off with Bray Wyatt and Rusev.
After eliminating Titus O'Neil with Dean Ambrose, Reigns and his former Shield partner battled to the final four with two of the biggest men in the match, who had dominated since entering: Kane and Big Show. Once Ambrose was eliminated by the two members of The Authority, Reigns was outnumbered.
When Kane and Big Show turned on each other, Reigns took advantage of the opportunity, eliminating both men at the same time for what he thought was victory. After a brief appearance from The Rock, showing up to help Reigns against the already eliminated Authority, it became apparent Rusev was never actually eliminated. Seconds later, after throwing his last opponent over the top rope, Reigns was officially crowned the winner in one of the messiest, and most unpopular finishes to a Royal Rumble in history.
