WWE Royal Rumble: Best Performances From Every Entry Slot

26. The Big Show - 2000

Though any superstar that draws it would be undoubtedly happy, the No. 26 slot has never produced a winner in the Royal Rumble. The Big Show in 2000 and Kurt Angle in 2002 have come the closest, both finishing as runner up to The Rock and Triple H respectively.

Big Show's performance can be labelled as the better of the two as he eliminated four men on his way to second place, compared to just two eliminations from Kurt (even if those two were Kane and Steve Austin).

Every single time The Big Show enters the Rumble he is labelled as a favourite due to his size, and in 2000 he certainly solidified this status, eliminating both Test and Gangrel within ten seconds. He then continued to dominate the match, throwing both The Godfather and X-Pac (officially) over the top rope.

With just The Big Show and The Rock left, two men who hated each other at the time, it seemed that the former had booked his ticket to WrestleMania after a thunderous chokeslam. Yet after some cocky showboating from the world's largest athlete, The Rock used Big Show's momentum against him, sending the 500lb giant over the top and out of the match.
