WWE Royal Rumble: Best Performances From Every Entry Slot
25. Hulk Hogan - 1990
Only one man has ever entered the Royal Rumble at the No. 25 spot and had his hand raised at the end. In 1990, in just the third ever Royal Rumble, before the prize was a title match at WrestleMania, the World Heavyweight Champion himself Hulk Hogan took the Rumble by storm.
After immediately eliminating Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka with a clothesline, The Hulkster then dispatched of Haku and Honky Tonk Man, before a stand-off with Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior as the only two men in the ring. The two had an epic confrontation that was interrupted by The Barbarian entering at No. 27. (This wasn't the end for these two giants, who ended up against each other at WrestleMania in a title vs title match).
After Hogan assisted with the eliminations of The Ultimate Warrior and Ravishing Rick Rude, he was left one on one with the last man to enter, Mr. Perfect. After surviving a pummeling from Perfect, Hogan showed exactly why he is called 'The Immortal', shrugging off hit after hit, finishing the match by throwing his opponent over the top rope, just under 13 minutes after he entered the ring.
