WWE Saturday Night's Main Event has reportedly hit its best television ratings since returning last December, with the 24 May show up significantly from its previous outing, 25 January.

According to Jed I. Goodman, the 24 May Saturday Night's Main Event drew an average audience of 1.97 million P2+ viewers across its two hours. SNME also had a P18-49 rating of 0.54. These numbers only reflect the show's performance on NBC and do not include Peacock viewers.

Both the P2+ and P18-49 figures are the best in Saturday Night's Main Event's revived history, and represent significant improvements from the last two shows.

Information on SNME fared vs. other television shows on the night has not yet come to light. Nonetheless, the 64% increase in P18-49 viewers since January will be seen as particularly encouraging, as these figures ultimately determine how shows rank.

The latest Saturday night special was largely marketed around John Cena vs. R-Truth and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso defending against Logan Paul. Other big names on the lineup included CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre.

WWE's next Saturday Night's Main Event takes place in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, 12 July, the same day as AEW's biggest pay-per-view of the year, All In Texas. The two shows are not expected to clash, though WWE has positioned NXT's Grand American Bash special directly opposite the competition.
