WWE Friday Night SmackDown has suffered yet another drop in the ratings, with last week's episode marking just the second time that the show has garnered fewer than two million viewers since the move to Fox back in October of last year.

The news comes after the previous week had seen some of the highest ratings in the crowdless era amidst the current global crisis, marking one of the sharpest declines of the year-to-date and continuing the seemingly ever-changing nature of the show's fortunes on Fox.

However, SmackDown did enjoy some success among some of its target demographics, drawing a .3 tying for first with a rerun of ABC's Shark Tank with viewers aged 18-34. WWE also managed a respectable second in the ratings for viewers under 50 with a .5.

Even Bayley and Sasha Banks winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships for a record-tying second time with a win over Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross clearly was not enough to boost viewership which has been in a gradual decline since the start of the year.

What can the blue brand do to boost ratings?
