9. The Rock
WWE.comHes becoming quite the cameo king these days. Obviously, his return at WrestleMania was an iconic moment which almost stole the show but, with his three year programme with Cena complete then chances are The Rock will become the consummate old pro wheeled out to get the crowd warmed up. This really would be a cameo for the sake of it as the chances of The Rock returning part-time for the autumn are very slim indeed. Yes, he wrestled at Survivor Series 2011 but this was all part of his Cena programme. Lesnar aside, there isnt much out there for The Rock anymore. Cena was the dream feud, Brock is the history-making rematch and after that...theres isnt really anything. The way a cameo at SummerSlam could work beyond hosting the show would be in backstage interactions. Obviously, a Lesnar tease would go down a storm and give a clue to future battles. On top of that, we could see Rocky give pep talks to his cousins Roman Reigns and The Usos before their matches. It would give a bit of warmth to the PPV but also help ground the history of this wrestling family. Whatever people think of The Rocks programme with Cena with hindsight, theres no denying the electricity he brings to any event hes part of.
